Elmwood approves 5% pay raise for clerk/treasurer, schedules Nov. 8 community clean-up

The Village Board of Trustees conducted an annual review of Clerk/Treasurer Alicia Greise and approved a 5% pay increase effective Oct. 1. Chair Renee Holland led the review with input from trustees; Trustee Heather Scott moved the pay increase and Trustee Becky Kicak seconded. The roll-call vote recorded 4-0 in favor with Greise abstaining from the vote.
Trustees also approved a community fall clean-up day. Trustee Heather Scott moved to hold the clean-up on Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with two dumpsters provided at a cost not to exceed $900; Trustee Patric Euse seconded the motion and the board voted 5-0 to approve it.
The minutes list follow-up items for staff and committees in routine reports but do not record additional personnel actions or budget transfers related to the pay increase at the meeting.
