Tara Pat, appearing as a representative of the county downtown program (Ty County ADMP), told trustees the total project cost is $259,675, with $193,500 requested from the downtown anchor funds and the required 25% owner match of $66,175 committed by RK Property Management (owner Roger Kuck). Proposed work includes brick repointing, exterior painting, roof and window replacement, restoration of entrance doors and repair of the front commercial display case; the project already received a certificate of appropriateness from the local preservation commission on April 2.
"You just need a letter of support from us," Tara Pat said in asking the board to pass a resolution (speaker self‑identified in the record). Trustees moved, seconded and approved the requested resolution of support; the county will serve as the applicant/pass‑through for grant paperwork because the property is within the village.
The board did not commit financial matching funds beyond the required owner match; the county will pursue the grant process.
