At its July 8 meeting the Village of Wilcox Board of Trustees approved the treasurer’s report and authorized payment of the claims presented for this period. The claims list in the minutes includes vendors and amounts such as NPPD ($23,921.82), SPPD ($2,242.20 and $699.63), CPI ($1,511.49) and several smaller items; the board approved all claims on a motion by Johnson with second by Adam.
The board reviewed Resolution No. 680 concerning renewal with LARM for 2025–2026 and approved a three‑year commitment that carries a 5% discount (motion by Adam, second by Nash). The minutes record the motion carried unanimously.
On personnel, the board approved a 3% salary increase for the utility superintendent and the clerk; the minutes state the seasonal employee will remain at $16.00 per hour. The motion to raise wages was made by Adam and seconded by Nash.
