Commissioners discussed vehicle condition and low mileage on some cars and instructed staff to estimate recurring fuel and maintenance costs for the next budget cycle.
The board asked the sheriff’s office for an estimate to bring two vehicles up to saleable or serviceable condition; commissioners noted one vehicle needed two tires and another needed a battery and oil change. The separate motion asking the council for $1,500 to cover immediate repair needs passed by voice vote.
