The board confirmed funds exist for a part‑time overlap and approved a start arrangement that would avoid payroll conflicts; the appointment motion passed by voice vote.
The board also discussed appointing a part‑time helper during Yushock’s transition and agreed to set a review date after the initial onboarding period. Yushock thanked the board and commissioners welcomed him to the position.
