The Wymore City Council on April 15 approved a series of routine agenda items: an alcohol permit for community-center events May 8–9; the application of Connor Worthey to join the fire department; four firefighters to attend NSVFA fire school in Grand Island May 15–17 with costs split 50/50 with the rural board; and a $1.25-per-hour raise for employee Jayden Borns after completing six months. The council also entered the LIGHT insurance renewal contract for PPO option 1 and authorized city officials to sign, approved Sam Wymore Days Committee’s request to bring the circus to McCandles baseball field in late July, and accepted the resignation of firefighter Clifford Dahlkoetter.
All items in this block of routine business passed unanimously, with votes recorded in the minutes as 4-0 where noted. No additional cost estimates beyond those recorded elsewhere on the agenda were provided in the minutes.
