Wymore council approves vehicle-title pilot for citywide cleanup over one dissenting vote

Wymore’s City Council on April 15 approved a pilot program to take possession of junk or unlicensed motor vehicles during the citywide cleanup on April 29–30 at Arbor State Park and to pursue county titles so the city can sell them for scrap. City Attorney Andrew Carothers explained the title application process through the county treasurer would take roughly 30 days. The council approved collecting the vehicles and, if necessary, paying up to $100 to obtain titles; the vote was 3-1 with Councilman Neil Van Boening voting no.
