York School Board approves minutes, accepts retirement, and OKs stadium agreement and new phone system

The York Public Schools Board of Education at its Nov. 25, 2024 meeting approved routine business items including prior minutes, a retirement, an intergovernmental asset agreement and a contract for a new phone system.
The board approved the Nov. 11, 2024 minutes after a motion from Board member Pepper Papineau and a second from Board member Brien Alley; the roll-call vote recorded all members voting yes. Board member Amie Kopcho moved to approve the early retirement of Judy Danielson and to thank her for many years of service; Alison North seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The board also approved a Levitt Stadium Asset Agreement with the City of York. Alison North moved to approve the agreement and Alex Hildebrand seconded; the roll-call vote was recorded as unanimous. Finally, the board approved a new phone system contract with Elevate (Eakes). Pepper Papineau moved the contract approval, seconded by Amie Kopcho; the vote was unanimous.
The meeting concluded with brief announcements and adjournment at 7:47 p.m. The minutes are signed by Gayla K Knight, Secretary.
