The Village of Alvo Board of Trustees voted unanimously March 3 to approve claims, payroll and taxes totaling $160,220.36, including interim clerk wages and authorized payments for training.
Clerk/Treasurer Katherine Childers presented the treasurer’s report and a detailed list of checks and online payments. The payroll line included $1,490.55 for Childers (post-taxes) and trustee meeting payroll entries. Large invoices listed included multiple line items from contractor OMNI for mobilization, traffic control, asphalt millings and concrete surface work that together represented the largest single vendor total in the packet. The agenda packet shows an aggregate total of $160,220.36 for all presented claims and invoices.
Trustee Dave Morgan moved to approve payment of the presented claims, wages and taxes; Trustee Larry Langer seconded. The motion carried Yes-3, No-0.
The board also voted earlier under new business to authorize payment for additional training hours for Katherine Childers beyond the previously approved ordinance limit; that motion carried with the same unanimous vote pattern noted elsewhere. The board approved that Cathina Schueth will provide invoices for training Katherine Childers; payment will be processed against those invoices.
The board concluded the meeting after approving the claims. The meeting adjourned at 8:04 P.M.
