Summary
At its June 2 meeting Farmington’s City Council unanimously approved the Intermountain Health development agreement, the first amendment to the Farmstead conservation subdivision (removing an HOA requirement), and the Summary Action list covering minutes, a fraud risk assessment, a condo plat and surplus property.
The Farmington City Council recorded several unanimous votes at its June 2 meeting.
Intermountain Health clinic development agreement: Council approved the Project Master Plan and Development Agreement for a clinic on the south half of a nine-acre property at Burke and Maker. Motion: Melissa Layton moved to approve the agreement, including clarifications; Roger Child seconded. Recorded votes in the minutes show Roger Child, Scott Isaacson, Melissa Layton and Kristen Sherlock voting aye.
Farmstead subdivision amendment: The Council approved a first amendment to the Farmstead Development Agreement that removes the requirement for a homeowner’s association for a 30-lot conservation subdivision developed using Transfer of Development Rights (TDRs). Councilmember Scott Isaacson moved approval; Melissa Layton seconded and the Council voted unanimously. City Attorney Paul Roberts clarified that Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs) will still apply even without an HOA.
Summary Action list: The Council approved the Summary Action list, which included: approval of May 19 minutes; a Fraud Risk Assessment (staff reported a low fraud risk); a Farmington Medical Office Building condominium plat allowing individual ownership of existing suites at 775 N. Innovator Drive; and declaration of surplus property (2019 Dodge Durango and 2014 Grand Cherokee). Kristen Sherlock moved; Roger Child seconded; the motion passed without opposition.
Adjournment: Roger Child moved to adjourn at 7:30 p.m.; Kristen Sherlock seconded and the Council adjourned. No recorded opposition was noted in the minutes.
