Oak Street development discussion tabled after split trustee vote

Karen, who reported she has reached out to an appraiser and is working to find comparable values, said the VABA contract had returned with attorney comments. Trustee Turnwall moved to table the discussion until next month; Chairperson Dan Homes seconded. The motion passed with trustees Brightenburg, Homes and Turnwall voting in favor, Trustee Draper voting no and Trustee Pierce abstaining.
The motion postpones further action on the development and authorizes continued work to assemble valuation information and to resolve attorney comments on the VABA contract. No formal approvals or permit waivers were adopted at the meeting.
Board members who voted against or abstained did not provide additional formal conditions on the record; interested parties are expected to reintroduce the item at the next regular meeting for further consideration.
