During the June 2 meeting, Councilmember Judith Kuleta discussed matters related to boards and commissions. Councilmember Terry Lippincott asked about the Bickford bridge weight restriction; City Administrator Ken Klein said the restriction had been updated and that staff were reviewing it. Council President Felix Neals reported on the council retreat and described alignment of council priorities with current work.
The agenda item labeled "Kikendall Cabin Update" was postponed to a future meeting at the council's request and will be taken up at the second meeting in July. Neals also noted upcoming events and engagements, including attendance at the Snohomish County Transportation meeting and a Legislative Members Forum scheduled for September at Everett Station.
No formal votes or direction to adopt policy on the bridge restriction were recorded in the minutes; further action appears to be staff review and potential future council consideration.
