The Kenosha Public Works Committee approved three permit requests at its May 12 meeting, clearing event and parking uses for several summer and fall community events.
Staff read requests from Lemon Street Gallery & Art Space for the Kenosha Art Market on June 15, July 20, Aug. 17, Sept. 21 and Oct. 19, 2025; Carmichael and Associates/Frank Carmichael for a Tribute Island event at the city-owned parking lot at 5125 6th Avenue in October 2025; and the City of Kenosha for bookmobile parking on the west side of 18th Avenue adjacent to Lincoln Park for the Time to Fly kite festival on Sept. 27, 2025. A motion to approve items 2, 3 and 4, after any required readings and public hearings, was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote with no discussion.
No conditions or special restrictions were recorded in the transcript; staff indicated the items had been read and were cleared for approval pending necessary readings/hearings.
