Item 4 (applicant Brittany Glopin) was approved on the committee’s motion but subject to a nonrenewal/revocation hearing condition unless she supplies documentation of compliance; several members stressed the importance of completing court-ordered assessments and addressing driver-license issues.
For Item 12, Mikaela Martinelli explained an out-of-state license-transfer timing issue and clarified that her Illinois license was surrendered when her Wisconsin license was issued; the deputy city attorney withdrew the negative recommendation and the committee voted to approve the taxi driver license with 20 demerit points noted.
Other approvals included a recommendation to grant an amusement and recreation enterprise supervisor license (subject to demerit points), multiple class A and B license renewals, and several temporary outdoor extensions and daily cabaret permits for events. The committee also scheduled a special Licenses & Permits meeting for May 28 as needed and adjourned.
