Warren County elections office reports 25,468 registered voters; primary turnout 18%

Mark said Warren County currently has 25,468 registered voters, up roughly 300 from the previous year. He reported turnout for the May 19, 2026 primary was about 18 percent overall, with 29 percent of registered Democrats and 18 percent of registered Republicans voting. "Typically we do run about 22% on average" for comparable primaries, he said, noting primary turnout tracks slightly below that historical average.
He told commissioners that staff began annual list‑maintenance mailings this week and that Pennsylvania participates in the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) to coordinate voter list maintenance; removal of deceased voters is handled weekly through the Department of State and the state Department of Health. Mark also said he and a colleague, Emily, had just certified the 2026 primary and that he will attend a regional election directors' conference next week.
The report was presented as part of the board's routine monthly department updates.
