Staff said the draft introduces new categories that differentiate 'natural' lands from rural agricultural areas and that utility-service area mapping (sanitary sewer service sheds) was used to inform land-use recommendations. Staff urged commissioners to review the draft and provide comments during an outreach window planned over the coming weeks; the master-plan steering committee will consider feedback before forwarding a recommendation to County Council.
The commission's administrative items were routine and the meeting adjourned after a motion to close.
