Wellton council approves minutes, financial statements and VFW bingo license; budget review continued to May 5

At its April 7, 2026 meeting, the Town of Wellton Council approved routine business items including the February 3, 2026 regular meeting minutes and work session minutes, the FY2025–26 second quarter financial statements, and the FY2025–26 second quarter accounts payable disbursements. Motions to approve those items were moved and seconded by council members and recorded as passing by unanimous 5-0 votes.
Council also approved a bingo license application submitted by VFW Post 6790; the motion was moved by Council Member McCollough and seconded by Vice Mayor Biggs and recorded as approved 5-0.
