Board member Jeff Rasmussen told the Mountainaire Homeowners Association on May 11 that he is frustrated with the property management company’s level of service relative to its $2,500 monthly fee, saying he has seen delays in follow‑through on approved PICs and a lack of recent recorded violations despite monthly property inspections.
Rasmussen said he had drafted a strongly worded letter to homeowners about playground vandalism but received limited feedback from other board members and argued the board should act while concerns are timely. The board agreed to revisit the draft resident letter at its May 22 meeting.
The board also discussed compliance with Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CCRs) regarding trash‑can placement; Kwasi said the board will review a list of violations posted to Basecamp before sending violation letters and that VIS will provide a written summary of the monthly inspection process and expectations for enforcement.
No response from VIS is recorded in the meeting minutes regarding the performance concerns raised by Rasmussen; the board directed follow‑up steps and scheduled discussion of these items at the next meeting.
