Don said the contractor would handle excavation, haul away unsuitable material, install drainage piping tied into last year's improvements, compact the surface and supply grading work; the city would supply specialized field conditioner.
Board members noted the fields generate rental revenue and asked staff to identify funding sources and year-to-date available funds. Don said staff will present a clearer funding proposal at the next meeting. The motion directing the city to proceed with repairs not to exceed $19,999 was moved, seconded and carried without objection.
