Superintendent Julie Isbell presented the district’s Spring ATLAS Summative Assessment proficiency levels in English language arts, math and science for grades 3–10 and end-of-course tests at the Aug. 25 board meeting. Data were provided for each building; no board action was required on the assessment report.
Isbell then presented revised School Improvement Plans that include Family and Community Engagement Plans. Bridgett Hewitt moved to approve the revised plans and Jeremy Lally seconded; the board approved the plans 4-0.
Board members noted the plans and scheduled no further immediate action. The district announced that HHS will host Advanced Placement Awards on Aug. 28 at 8:30 a.m. in the Center for the Arts to honor students who scored a 3 or 4 on AP exams.
