Harrisburg board accepts resignations, awards stipends and names dyslexia coordinator
Summary
After an executive session Aug. 25, the Harrisburg School Board accepted two resignations, approved a $1,250 stipend for Cari Brown and named Pam Hogue District Dyslexia Coordinator with a $2,500 stipend; all motions passed unanimously.
The Harrisburg School Board on Aug. 25 accepted personnel resignations and approved contract and stipend changes following an executive session.
Upon returning from closed session Superintendent Julie Isbell recommended acceptance of resignations: Malinda Condra, effective July 23, 2025, and Leah Voyles, who resigned from the assignment of District Dyslexia Coordinator effective immediately. Motions to accept both resignations passed 4-0.
The board also approved several contract additions and stipend adjustments. Cari Brown was granted an additional $1,250 stipend for serving as a .5 Instructional Coach. Pam Hogue, WES principal, was named District Dyslexia Coordinator and approved to receive the stipend for that position of $2,500. Motions to approve these changes were carried unanimously.
Board members at the meeting were Ryan Murphy, Kurt Johns, Bridgett Hewitt and Jeremy Lally. The minutes do not record debate or public comment on the personnel items.
