Interim Superintendent Julie Isbell recommended selling four buses, one driver‑education car and one reel mower as items no longer in use; the board approved the recommendation on a 5-0 vote after a motion by Bridgett Hewitt and a second from Jeremy Lally. District transportation staff reported that 20 buses are subject to state inspection, information the board received as part of the surplus-asset discussion.
Isbell also recommended awarding a bid from JO Statt to install force‑resistant film across district buildings. The board approved that recommendation, with trustees voting 5-0 on a motion by Hewitt and a second from Lally. The agenda materials state the film will be paid for with funds from the SVPP Grant.
The board tabled action on a separate recommendation to approve asphalt work for the Harrisburg Elementary School parking lot; the motion to table was made by Ashley Rowton, seconded by Kurt Johns, and carried 5-0. No dollar amounts for the bus sales or the JO Statt contract were specified in the minutes.
The board also received two vendor presentations on janitorial outsourcing (4M Building Solutions and Swept Away) during the meeting; those were informational and produced no vote.
