Audubon County Engineer Mitch Rydl updated the Board of Supervisors on secondary roads and maintenance during the Aug. 13 meeting and presented several routine actions for approval.
The board unanimously approved a utility permit for WCIRWA (Lincoln Sec 9/10 Dove Ave). Supervisors also approved using TIF funds to pay a dust-control bill of $8,265 for the Puck Project detour area. Finally, the board approved payment of estimate #1 for Project No. RC-C005(76)—9A-05 M66/100th St Intersection in the amount of $49,805.32.
Why it matters: these approvals authorize immediate payments and permit activity tied to road maintenance and safety. Rydl did not request additional board action beyond the routine approvals recorded in the minutes.
