The Audubon County Board of Supervisors recorded a series of unanimous motions on July 9. Early in the meeting the board approved the meeting agenda (motion by Doug Sorensen, second by Heath Hansen). The board then voted to approve a $10,000 deductible as part of the county’s insurance renewal process after Community Insurance representatives presented final documents.
The board approved a temporary liquor license premise transfer from Doug’s Agribar to Lucky Wife Wine Slushies / Cloud Wine LLC and accepted the Sheriff’s Quarterly Report (April–June 2024) and the Recorder’s Report of Fees Collected for June 2024. The board later approved FY25 insurance renewals, the meeting minutes for July 2, 2024, and claims submitted by various departments totaling $318,002.41; the claims figure will be published at the end of July in a separate publication.
All recorded motions in the meeting minutes show Doug Sorensen making the motions and Heath Hansen seconding several of them; votes were recorded as "all in favor." The minutes record no roll-call tallies beyond the unanimous notation.
