FFA representative asks Joseph City board for land-lab buildings, adviser support and training

"One of the issues is that we don't really have the facilities to do SAE training in a classical way," the commenter said.
The commenter also requested training for board members and administrators so they can better understand FFA pathways and funding opportunities, and asked for two people to help the advisor with building development. She invited administrators to the greenhouse dinner during parent-teacher conferences and said the program is already coordinating with neighboring schools and the chamber of commerce.
Mr. Field and administration said they would research options and plan to coordinate with the adviser when the program is ready to request funds or bring a formal proposal to the board.
No formal request for immediate capital funding was approved at the meeting; the item was introduced as public comment and staff follow-up was offered.
