It reappointed Jim Lane Jr. to the three‑member Board of Registrars (term through June 30, 2029) after a brief discussion of nominees and confirmed the town manager’s appointment of Mary Reese as Age‑Friendly Committee co‑chair.
Grants and earmarks: Delegation members highlighted local earmarks and grants they helped secure, including $25,000 for the Bruce Freeman Trail and $25,000 for the food pantry, a part of funding for an aquatic‑life study at Hart Pond, traffic‑signal improvements in Chelmsford Center, and a $35,000 MTTA grant the town will use to update its FEMA required hazardous mitigation plan.
