Mayor Cole presided over the City of Rogersville Board of Aldermen meeting on June 1, 2026. The board unanimously approved routine business including minutes and bills, and passed first and second readings of an ordinance to annex and zone property described as "Belk‑behind Gordens."
Alderman Pyle moved to open the meeting and to approve the May 20, 2026 minutes; Alderman Stucki seconded both motions and they passed on recorded votes with Aldermen Pyle, Stucki and Lee voting Aye and Alderman Tim Clarkson absent. Later in the meeting the board approved accounts payable totaling $29,888.69: general fund $11,726.41, water/sewer $18,052.28, and park $110.00. The accounts‑payable motion was made by Alderman Stucki and seconded by Alderman Pyle and passed by roll call (Ayes: Pyle, Stucki, Lee; Clarkson absent).
On first and second readings the board considered Bill 06012026A, "An ordinance to annex and zone certain property contiguous to the existing city limits of the City of Rogersville, MO (Belk‑behind Gordens)." Alderman Pyle moved the readings, Alderman Stucki seconded, and the readings passed on roll call with the same three Aye votes and one absence recorded. The minutes do not record further conditions or dissent related to the ordinance readings.
Attorney Krebs and Alderman Tim Clarkson were noted as unable to attend. The board adjourned at approximately 6:35 p.m.; the motion to adjourn was made by Alderman Jeff Lee, seconded by Alderman Stucki and carried by vote. Minutes were submitted by City Clerk Glenda Stegner.
