The College Township Industrial Development Authority on May 20 approved three Small Business Grants to support façade improvements for downtown enterprises. The Loan Committee had reviewed the applications at its May 15 meeting and recommended awards for College Gardens ($5,000), Marrara's Cleaners ($4,140.80) and Natures Pantry ($3,465).
Anthony Fragola, reporting the Loan Committee’s recommendations, said the committee heard client updates and reviewed the completed applications before recommending the awards. The Authority recorded motions to award each grant and each motion carried unanimously.
Executive Director Keri Kenepp told the Authority that, after these awards, the Small Business Grant fund has approximately $17,000 remaining in 2026 for future grants. The grant awards are designated for façade improvements as identified in the applicants’ completed applications.
The meeting minutes show no amendments or conditions attached to the awards. The Authority recessed briefly for an executive session on client matters and then reconvened and adjourned at 4:41 PM.
