At the end of the meeting staff announced personnel changes and offered commission updates.
Rihanna, speaking for staff, said that this meeting was Kyle's last after serving two terms and that commissioners would receive a certificate of appreciation. She said Sarah had been appointed to a full three-year term and that the commission would make chair and vice-chair appointments at the July meeting.
Commissioners used the update to thank Kyle for his service. Kyle said he enjoyed his time on the commission and noted Nicholas Berg Barren was chosen to fill his seat; he described Nicholas as a local tenant who had engaged with the commission on landlord-tenant issues. Commissioners also praised a student-built house program and the volunteers who supported it.
The commission moved to adjourn after the updates; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
