Leacock Township board approves minutes, bills and treasurer’s report; staff and fire department give monthly updates

At its June 2, 2026 meeting, the Leacock Township Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the May 18 minutes, authorized payment of bills and accepted the treasurer’s report, and heard brief updates on equipment and department activities from township staff and Pequea Valley Fire Department.
The Leacock Township Board of Supervisors unanimously approved routine business at its June 2, 2026 meeting.
Supervisor Don Gentzler moved to approve the May 18, 2026 meeting minutes; Supervisor Frank Howe seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Gentzler also moved to approve payment of the bills and to accept the Treasurer’s report; both motions were seconded by Howe and carried unanimously.
Township Manager Christopher M. Slaymaker gave a brief report that included updates on the status of the 2026 Mack dump truck and on the paving box refurbishment. Deputy Chief Dave Johnson provided a report from the Pequea Valley Fire Department summarizing call totals and department activities in May 2026. Zoning Officer Joe Kennedy presented a brief summary of zoning office activities for May.
Chairman Mike Sensenig called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.; there were no visitors or public comments. With no further business the board adjourned at 7:13 p.m.
