Gilford selectmen approve road sealing, lawn care contracts; accept $1,500 grant and travel request

The Board of Selectmen approved several fiscal and procurement items on May 27. Selectman Gus Benavides moved and Selectman Richard Grenier seconded a motion to accept an extension with All States Asphalt for road sealing in an amount not to exceed $115,716.70, to be charged to account #4312-551; the motion passed unanimously.
The Board next approved a contract extension with Boucher's Landscaping for lawn care at the same price as 2025, not to exceed $31,500 from account #4194-535. Selectmen also accepted $1,500 from Walmart as a Spark Good Local Grant to purchase fitness equipment for the Fire Station, and approved an out-of-state travel request for the Finance Director to attend a BS&A conference in Ponte Vedra, Florida, Oct. 5–8, at an estimated cost of $2,197.
In other business the Board revised a prior motion to spend $22,000 for dock monitoring and permitting to specify the Glendale Capital Reserve Fund as the source of funds. All motions passed by a recorded vote of 3-0.
