Board approves two occupational-therapy providers to restore onsite services

Susi Edgington moved to approve occupational-therapy services; Lincoln Thomasson seconded. Mrs. Wheeler said Theresa would be onsite two to three days per week for IEP services and Vicki would be called in as needed for evaluations. The motion carried by unanimous roll-call vote.
Why it matters: restoring onsite occupational-therapy services addresses a key special-education need and informed the board’s decision to increase purchased-services funding in the FY26 revision.
