The executive session began with a motion by Susi Edgington and a second by Dr. Richard Hector Sr. to discuss the superintendent’s salary and final contract terms. The board later returned to open session and held the roll-call vote on the previously suspended motion.
The board did not release detailed salary figures or contract language at the meeting. The agenda packet and minutes note that the motion and the vote were recorded on the public record after the executive session. The board followed statutory procedure by convening the private session under ARS 38-431.03 to discuss negotiations that involve personnel compensation.
