Committee decides to encourage loan applicants to attend review meetings but will not change policy manual

Jon Bingol noted that historically the committee preferred applicants not attend review meetings. Scott Champion recommended that, if applicants do attend, they be allowed a five-minute presentation before a closed session. The committee concluded it would encourage applicant attendance, permit a five-minute presentation, and make no change to the policy manual.
The committee’s decision is procedural: staff will invite applicants to attend and will allot up to five minutes for applicant presentations when they do. No formal amendment to the loan policy was adopted at this meeting.
