Upper Moreland to begin Woodlawn Park redevelopment; contractor to mobilize mid‑June

Parks and Recreation Director Kate Kohler told the Upper Moreland Parks and Recreation Committee that the township will issue a notice to proceed for the Woodlawn Park redevelopment to A.H. Cornell & Son on June 1, 2026, with full mobilization anticipated around June 15 and substantial completion projected on or about Nov. 15.

"At this time we are proceeding with the proposed project timeline including a June 1st, 2026 notice to proceed with A.H. Cornell & Son," Kate Kohler said. She added that Gilmore & Associates and Simone Collins will combine efforts for project coordination and observation to help ensure a smooth redevelopment process.

The presentation indicated the redevelopment is a township capital project supported by the Board of Commissioners; Kohler thanked the board for its earlier support and approval and offered to answer questions about the schedule.
