Upper Moreland to move administrative offices June 1; police follow June 15

Upper Moreland Township’s Finance and Administrative Committee was told that the township’s administrative offices will relocate to 2510 Maryland Road, Suite 250, beginning June 1, Commissioner and committee chair Alan Satterman said. “Administrative offices will be going there starting June 1st,” Satterman said.

The chair told the committee the offices are moving into the Abington Jefferson Health Complex off Maryland Road and that the township website has been updated with the new address. He added that the building currently housing administration will be closed for administrative operations after the move.

Satterman also said the Upper Moreland Police Department will remain in the current facility through June 14 and will move into the same suite with administration on June 15. “Upper Moreland Police Department will still be located in this facility through June 14th, and on the 15th, they’ll be over in the same building, same suite as the administrative offices,” he said.

Committee members did not raise questions during the announcement. The chair said the township released the information the day of the meeting and that the relocation is being advertised on the township website.

The committee moved on to other agenda items after the announcement; no vote was required for the relocation announcement itself.
