The Board heard an updated amended site plan for N&J New Road Properties, where the applicant has reduced the building size and is finalizing a SWPPP. Darren Doce said the building footprint has been reduced by more than 50 percent from an earlier proposal and that a preliminary SWPPP is under review.
Jim Campbell, Code Compliance, told the Board signage, building permits for a retaining wall, and required ADA striping details need to be documented; he noted the freestanding sign as proposed likely needs a variance (required 15 feet; proposed 3 feet). Pat Hines said DEC has taken jurisdiction over on‑site wetlands and that a DEC wetland permit will be required; he also recommended re‑circulating adjoiner notices because the project scale had changed.
The Board voted to re‑send the adjoiner notices and refer the application to Orange County Planning for its review.
