Park County drop-in center to hire program assistant and host free March 14 community fair

She asked the LAC to publicize a free community event — the Saint Patty's Pioneer Fair — scheduled for Saturday, March 14, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the fairgrounds. The event will include live Celtic music, family activities and no alcohol service; organizers emphasized it will be a sober community event with mocktails and family-oriented programming.
Allen also said the center will add a grief-support group on Monday evenings starting March 1 and intends to implement six-week, block-scheduled groups with a screening process for participants. She offered to share the job description and promotional flyer with the county to include in meeting minutes and community calendars.
