Staff reported the foundation and town are comfortable with the current survey but noted the council could call a special meeting before the fiscal year-end if contract and deed paperwork are not returned in time so the purchase could qualify as a grant match.
After approving the purchase, the council unanimously passed a resolution to combine cemetery parcels through a plot-line adjustment, consolidating the cemetery into a single parcel for management and grant purposes.
