Plymouth assessors vote to enter executive session to review tax appeals, abatements and exemptions

At 5:40 p.m. Jan. 20, the board voted in roll call to enter executive session under G.L. c.30A s.21(a)(7) to review Appellate Tax Board cases, abatement applications, charitable exemptions and executive minutes.
At 5:40 p.m. during the Jan. 20 meeting, Michael Hourahan moved that the Town of Plymouth Board of Assessors enter executive session under G.L. c.30A s.21(a)(7) to comply with G.L. c.59 §60 and review Appellate Tax Board cases, abatement applications, charitable exemptions and the executive minutes of Dec. 2, 2025 and Jan. 6, 2026. Adam Bond seconded the motion.
A roll-call vote followed with Donna Randles, Michael Hourahan, Joanne Wing and Adam Bond each recorded as voting "Y." The motion to enter executive session was seconded and carried per the recorded roll call. The executive session motion is recorded in the minutes with the cited statutory authorities.
The board later adjourned at 6:50 p.m. and scheduled its next meeting for Feb. 10, 2026.
