Commissioners asked staff to return a revised draft letter (ordinance/notice) with one clarifying edit requested by Charlotte: add explicit language that the tax applies to prepared food and beverage. After brief discussion the commission moved to accept the letter with pending modifications and approved that motion by voice vote.
The meeting then moved to a series of agenda items on community grants and presentations.
