Commission adopts ADU policy, renews Country Manor permit; City Hall remains out after tornado

The commission also renewed the conditional use permit for Country Manor, owned by Jason and Tammy Wortham at 3949 Chestnut Lane. Commissioner Keith Ramsey moved to approve the renewal; Commissioner Ellen Leonard seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Chairman Bill Towle announced that City Hall was “completely gone” after tornado damage, that temporary trailers are in use for city operations and thanked city employees; the commission noted Sunshine School (3400 Woods Lane) as the current meeting location.
Commissioner Ellen Leonard moved to adjourn; Commissioner Marc Barry seconded and the meeting was adjourned. The commission scheduled its next work session for July 22 and the next regular meeting for August 5 at Sunshine School while City Hall restoration continues.
