The commission voted to table a lot-line adjustment affecting properties on Burton Drive involving Peter and Werner Alberts, Megan Golden Herrington and Kenneth Epting. Commissioner Richard Crow moved to table the matter and Commissioner Keith Ramsey seconded. The commission directed Megan Golden Herrington to submit a lot split with surveys that show existing and proposed parcel boundaries, right-of-way and easement dedications for Burton Drive, and an articulating line on the survey; the Epting adjustment will remain tabled until those materials are submitted.
A separate lot-line adjustment involving the Pea Ridge Substation and parcels owned or controlled by Carroll Electric was also tabled. City Attorney Shane Perry suggested Carroll Electric’s legal department consider annexation as a path forward; the commission recorded that Stribling Trust and Matthew Helfer should complete necessary splits or adjustments before further action.
On a related infrastructure item, the commission considered a waiver request from Pediatric Plus (3415 N. Dixieland Road). The commission approved the waiver for street improvements but denied the request to remove a right-of-way requirement. Commissioner Richard Crow moved the approval with a denial of right-of-way removal, Commissioner Keith Ramsey seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
