Planning commission approves two short-term rental permits and several lot-line adjustments

The Little Flock Planning Commission approved conditional use permits for two short-term rental properties owned by Esterer Investments LLC at 4933 and 4943 Rocky Ridge Trail. Commissioner Ellen Leonard moved to approve the first permit at 4933 Rocky Ridge Trail; Commissioner Keith Ramsey seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
The commission approved the second Esterer Investments property at 4943 Rocky Ridge Trail under the same motion pattern; both short-term rental permits are noted for renewal in January 2025. The approvals were recorded as unanimous by the commissioners present.
The commission also approved a lot-line adjustment between Karla and Gary Owens (4917 Owens Lane) and Donna and John Owens (4914 Owens Lane). Commissioner Marc Barry moved the motion and Commissioner Keith Ramsey seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
A lot split and a contingent lot-line adjustment for the Ryan Hendren Living Revocable Trust at 12921 Nichols Road (parcels 18-07390-000 & 18-07390-001) were approved. The commission recorded the lot-line adjustment as contingent upon completion of the lot split. Motions and seconds are recorded in the meeting minutes and all passed unanimously.
The commission’s votes were taken with five commissioners present (Chairman Bill Towle; Commissioners Marc Barry, Richard Crow, Ellen Leonard and Keith Ramsey); Vice Chairman Stephen Montellano and Commissioner Kelly Horn were recorded absent for the meeting.
The meeting noted that City Hall remains out of service after tornado damage and that hearings are taking place at Sunshine School while temporary trailers are used for city operations.
