The Baker County Board of County Commissioners re-adopted three ordinances in a public hearing after calling for comment and hearing none.
Ordinance 2025-39 adds a property-rights element to the Baker County Comprehensive Plan. Staff noted the adoption is procedural and that signature pages were updated with the correct adoption date for submission to state review.
Ordinance 2025-29 approves a large-scale land-use amendment to reclassify approximately 113.61 acres owned by Kelvin and Luann Cruz from Agricultural A to Agricultural B and updates the future land-use map; the board confirmed stipulations on right-of-way and other conditions already being addressed.
Ordinance 2025-30 amends the zoning map to reclassify about 183 acres owned by Calvin and Luann Cruz from agricultural 10 to agricultural 7.5/5. Each ordinance was read by title and approved by the board by voice vote following the public-hearing process. The clerk will record the signed ordinances and return copies for the state submissions required by Florida Commerce.
