At its April 22 meeting the Crawford City Council approved several routine personnel, license and finance items. Highlights of the formal motions and outcomes recorded in the minutes follow.
Personnel and operations - Temporary hire: Council approved an emergency temporary hire of Amanda Cotton at the Golf Clubhouse at $13.50 per hour after a request from Blue Pelton; motion by Christopher Dean passed unanimously. - Golf merchandise: Council approved the Golf Board's request to order $600 of pro-shop merchandise; motion passed. - Golf bank account: Council disapproved the Golf Board's request to start its own bank account, citing administrative impact on the City Clerk.
Licenses, permits and property - SDL: The council approved a special designated license at 135 Main (Old Napa building) for the Tailgate Bar and Grill for an event May 17–18, 2025. - Street closure: Council approved temporary closures (2nd Street from the Post Office to Northwest Auto Body, plus North and Pine Streets) to form a T intersection for the 308 Rod Run on May 17, 2025. - Cemetery deed: Approved deed for Dorrene Julius.
