Councilors confirmed and approved a previously discussed property exchange to Robertson as set out in Resolution 2025‑04. The motion to approve was made by Scott DeBock, seconded by Christopher Dean, and recorded as approved in the minutes.
The council also received updates from the library board. Ashley (transcript: "Ashey") Blacksheep said the library board and librarian reviewed the budget with the City Clerk and agreed it is not the time to fill the part‑time library aide position. Blacksheep asked whether the council was comfortable with the existing job description, and the council agreed it was acceptable for future use. Council Member Patti Page reported she identified possible grant and internship opportunities and provided links to the library to review.
No further action was taken on the library staffing item at the meeting.
