The board first approved the minutes of its June 2 meeting. Commissioner Rick Vest moved and Commissioner Sean Flowerday seconded approval of the minutes; the motion carried 4-0 with Vice Chair Chelsea Johnson absent.
The board then approved additions and deductions to the 2026 tax assessment rolls; Commissioner Matt Schulte moved and Commissioner Sean Flowerday seconded the motion, which passed 4-0.
During a public hearing the board considered motor-vehicle tax exemption applications from My Bridge Radio; Christ United Methodist; Second Baptist Church; Fellowship Baptist Church; and Eastmond Towers/Christian Retirement Homes. Chair Christa Yoakum opened the hearing; no members of the public appeared to speak, and she closed the hearing. Commissioner Sean Flowerday moved to approve the listed exemptions and Commissioner Rick Vest seconded; the board voted 4-0 to approve the applications.
With no public comments during the open comment period, the board then approved a motion to adjourn at 9:52 a.m. Commissioner Rick Vest moved to adjourn; Commissioner Sean Flowerday seconded and the board voted 4-0. Vice Chair Chelsea Johnson was absent for all recorded votes.
