The Board of Upper Moreland Township approved four reappointments to advisory bodies during its committee meeting and announced several open volunteer positions.
The board reappointed Fred Sanderc to the Advisory Planning Agency as the Ward 2 representative for a two-year term ending June 1, 2028; Robert Young was reappointed to the Advisory Planning Agency as the Ward 4 representative for a term ending June 1, 2028; Christian Henderson was reappointed to the Advisory Planning Agency as the Ward 6 representative for a term ending June 1, 2028; and Lisa Marsteller was reappointed to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Council as an at-large representative for a two-year term ending June 30, 2028. A motion to approve the reappointments was made and passed.
Officials also announced current vacancies: one seat for Ward 1 on the Advisory Planning Agency; four open positions on the Historic Commission; two openings on the Human Relations Commission; one remaining seat on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Council; a structural engineer vacancy on the Uniform Construction Code Local Appeals Board; and a vacancy on the Upper Moreland–Hatboro Joint Sewer Authority. Residents interested in serving were instructed to submit a resume to Township Manager Pat Sazio.
The board completed the reappointments and vacancy announcements as part of routine agenda items and then adjourned.
