Board of Upper Moreland Township to meet at school building during renovations; bond sale expected to fund work

The Board of Upper Moreland Township said at its committee meeting that it will hold committee sessions in the school district administrative building while township facilities at 117 Park Avenue are renovated, and that the township’s temporary public office is 2510 Maryland Road, Suite 250, in the Willow Wood building on the Abington Hospital campus in Willow Grove.
A member noted during review of the investment activity report that the report now includes a General Obligation Bond 2026 line. According to the report, a good-faith deposit and bond sale occurred since the board last met and settlement of the first capital improvement bond issuance, which will fund the township building renovation and other projects in the 2026–29 capital improvement plan, is expected around June 30.
The board made a motion to adopt the director of finance report, tax enforcement officer’s report and investment activity report; the motion was seconded and vocal affirmations were recorded in favor. No members of the public offered non-agenda comments during the meeting.
Officials said the board will continue to meet at the school administrative building "for the near future, probably a year to a year and a half," subject to the school district’s approval, and reminded callers that township phone numbers and email addresses remain unchanged. The board adjourned after routine business and a slate of volunteer reappointments was approved.
